Mash Notes
Short on C40, thus the UK crystal. 2g cc and gyp in each tun. 3.5 distilled in strike water. The initial runnings on this would make a good barleywine.


Boil Notes
Didn't boil as hard and/or hop mass/bag prevented usual boil off. Delish, bitter wort - which smelled like blueberries at times during the boil. Wort to spare at end.


Fermentation Notes
1200L starters, 1056 and NW Ale. NW finished at 1.016 - 5.5%


Packaging Notes
12/1: .5oz cent; 1oz citra (each)

Tasting Notes
Really great, highly hoppy and sessionable. Am Ale II much more tropical.
