| Mash Schedule |
| Mash Type: | Full Mash |
| Schedule Name: | Single Step Infusion (67C/152F) |
| Step Type | Temperature | Duration |
| Rest at | 152 degF | 60 |
| Mash Notes |
| 5 gals distilled in main mash; 2g each cc and gyp in each tun. Mashed in bit higher (164/5ish) to nail 152ish. Water down to ph 6ish. |
| Boil Notes |
| Preboil low, switched to 90 minute boil. 60 minute hops really 60. |
| Fermentation Notes |
| Great tasting wort! 1.5L starters - fresh yeast, kept having to change out foil. May have over aerated (30 seconds) |
| Packaging Notes |
| All dry hops split between 2 carboys. 1 carboy used 1oz mosaic instead of simcoe. 1oz additions for 3 days. 4/17 - added .5oz columbus to each, not part of recipe (should be), rest on 4/18. Started cold crashing on 4/22. |
| Tasting Notes |
| Pre-carb - little hot? Not enough aroma? The mosiac is better - that's the ticket. No irregular alcohol/fusels post-carb. |
