10 gallons water - 161F (72F grain tmp) - 10 min in: 152F BIAB 10gal - 16g gyp; 5ml 85% phos acid Bru'n Water est ph: 5.34 (17.3 ratio) Add acid b4 heating. Recirculate mash w/ pump until clear. Grain temp: 61F - mashed in around 164, 15 min in settled at 152/3, ended 149 (no blanket) |

Didn't taste till a month out - the age and high FG made this disappointing. Mash lower and further cut the caramalts. |
